1. Who we are
Slate Row (slaterow.co.uk) is a trading name of B. Bonner-Davies, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom, at Mainey Wood, TN27 8RB. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. Contact: hello@slaterow.co.uk.
2. Visiting our website
Our website sets no cookies and uses no analytics, advertising or tracking tools. Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, processes technical data such as your IP address and browser type when you visit, in order to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. Cloudflare acts as our processor for this.
3. Links to retailers
Some links on Slate Row are affiliate links. When you click one, you leave our site, and the retailer and the affiliate network (such as Awin) may set their own cookies to record that the visit came from us. Their privacy policies apply to that data. We receive reports of sales and commission from the network, which do not identify you.
4. Our Pinterest integration
Our publishing tool, Slate Row Publisher, uses the Pinterest API with Pinterest’s own sign-in (OAuth) for one account only: ours. It publishes Pins to that account after we have reviewed and approved each one, and reads summary statistics for our own Pins.
It does not access other people’s Pinterest accounts and does not collect or store data about other Pinterest users. We do not sell or share data received from Pinterest. The access token Pinterest issues is stored securely and can be revoked at any time in Pinterest’s settings.
5. If you email us
We use your email address and message to reply to you and to keep a record of the conversation. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries. We don’t add you to any mailing list. Correspondence is deleted when no longer needed, and within two years at most.
6. Sharing and transfers
We don’t sell personal data. The service providers named above may process data outside the UK; where they do, they use safeguards recognised under UK data protection law.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, to object to or restrict its use, and to data portability. To exercise these rights, email hello@slaterow.co.uk. We will reply within one month. If you’re unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
8. Changes to this policy
If we add a newsletter or start measuring visits, we’ll update this policy first and change the effective date above.
